All dial telephones operate using the 'pulse' dialling method and are fully compatible with the current BT telephone network, as well as most cable networks. If connecting to a cable network, please use the notes section on the order form when ordering to confirm which cable network you are using in order that compatibility is guaranteed (i.e. VirginMedia NTL, VirginMedia Telewest, etc).
Unless otherwise stated, all telephones have a REN value of 1. Most telephone lines are capable of supporting 4 RENS. However, please bear in mind that all apparatus connected to the telephone line (answering machines, modems etc) has a REN value which may reflect on the ringing quality of any telephones also connected.
